As a school leader, one of my biggest fears is that we will fail to reach a student. Even in small schools, students fall through the cracks. Early in my career, we lost two students to death by suicide in one school year. What a tragedy. This example is extreme. However, all of our students need extra support at various times. Hansen High School will be providing School Pulse to students in grades 7-12 this year. Students receive positive videos, podcasts, surveys, and memes multiple times a week through text messages. Parents and teachers can also receive the same notifications as the students. The high school will be sending more information to parents soon!
