STEM Teaching Fellowship

Boise State University recently received a grant from the National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Teaching Scholarship Program to fund the STEM Teaching Fellowship. The program sounds too good to be true! Potential teachers are being recruited to apply to the program, which will fully pay for tuition and provide a salary supplement of $10,000 per year for the first four years of teaching. Potential candidates should have a primary residence in southwest or south-central Idaho, a STEM-related bachelor's degree, no previous certification to teach in Idaho, a desire to teach in grades 6-12 rural-serving schools, and a commitment to pursue the program full-time.
